Where the Paint Takes Me

This is where my paintings come to life — from dreamy abstract landscapes and seascapes to quirky figures and the occasional painting that refuses to be put in a box.

I’m drawn to colour, atmosphere and a little bit of mystery. A painting might begin with a landscape, a figure, a memory or simply a colour that catches my eye. From there, I follow where it leads, adding, scraping back and changing things until it feels right.

Some paintings are quiet, some are playful, and some are a little harder to explain. That’s part of the fun.
